The Federación de Gremios de Editores de España (FGEE) (Spanish Association of Publishers Guilds) is a non-profit, private professional association created in 1978 to represent, manage, enhance and defend the general common interests of the Spanish publishers on a national, European and international level. At the same time it is an export association, recognised as such by the Spanish Treasury Ministry.

The main governing body is the Board of Directors, which is headed by the Chairman of the FGEE and the Representative Committee and presided over by the President of the Federación.

The Executive Director is responsible for implementing the agreements reached by the FGEE's representative bodies.

To make sure the agreements reached by the Board and the Committee are properly carried out and implemented, the Federación has a General Secretary with a staff of nine people.
